Welcome to the Holywell Art Club website.
The Art Club was first established in 1973
In these early days membership was just a modest six, and weekly meetings were held at members’ homes. including Ken Radcliffe, the club's president.
Today, the club is held every Wednesday at Pentre Halkyn community centre, 10.30 am - 1.30 pm.
We currently have 25 members.
The annual membership fee is presently £25.
In addition members pay £3 per week to cover daily costs and refreshments.
We are a friendly, welcoming club with a nice social aspect. Whether you are a complete beginner or a more accomplished artist, our aim is to offer a relaxed pleasant environment to paint and create at your own pace.
Members enjoy a varied programme which includes occasional visiting artists who give demonstrations and workshops on a variety of mediums and subjects.
The club also provides a library of art books and DVDs that members can borrow to view at their leisure.
